Silicon Valley Couple Arrested For Torturing Toddler

This is so hard to believe, but today the San Jose Mercury News reported that in San Jose, a twenty-two month old baby has been tortured by a young couple; Julia Acosta, 20, of San Jose (his mother), and Baltazar "Bart" Martinez, 26, of Milpitas (Not his father).  This couple is now facing life in prison, because the injuries were so severe. You can read more about what happened, here. The Mercury reported that the mother, Julia Acosta, may have been a victim, as well. 

This is so incredibly sad, and we would like to help spread the word about ways to support this family.  If anyone in the community knows of a way to help this child, please leave a comment below.

How can anyone torture a baby?  This story just makes me sick to my stomach.....
