CBS5 news found the sight of us trying to cram the last of the swag into Jill's SUV pretty entertaining, you can watch it here.

On the other end, I felt like I was enacting a scene out of an old movie at the Westin St. Francis, directing a team of bellmen as they unloaded the swag bags onto polished brass baggage carts; I think we ended up with seven fully loaded. I should have had on an elegant dress and oversized hat and swooped into the hotel, with the line of bellman following hurriedly in my wake. Instead, I fussed and hovered and fumbled in my purse for cash for tips (lots of it) and twice put a hand on the brass carts (don't do that at the St. Francis, they don't want you to even think of pushing their carts). Gotta work on swooping, it's not normally a mom thing.
